The Center for Organizational Research (COR) is pleased to offer small grants (up to $1,000) to facilitate graduate student research on organizations. Funds can be used for any expenses related to the research process. COR supports a broad definition of research on organizations and welcomes proposals from members of any department or school.
Eligibility: PhD students doing research related to organizations.
Projects that meet the following criteria will be prioritized: student-driven, related to organizations broadly construed, and first-time awardees.

Applications should include the following:
Student Applicants will complete this Grant Proposal Form answering a few short questions. At the end of the form, a grant proposal should be submitted as a single document titled LastName-FirstName-COR-application-2024. The proposal must include:

- Completed cover sheet using the template provided here: (link)
- Proposal Narrative (1-page maximum, answering the following questions in 12-point font, with 1 inch margins), including:
- What is your research question or hypothesis?
- What are you doing this summer to answer your research question or test your hypothesis?
- What is organizational about your research?
- Budget and brief justification
- Applicants who have previously received COR funding should include at the end of their proposal (this may be included on a 2nd page) a description of how that money was used, resulting publications/presentations, and any outside funding they have applied for and/or received to support that research.
- Faculty Advisors will complete this Letter of Support Form answering a few short questions. At the end of the form, a 1-page maximum letter of support that addresses question 2b above should be submitted.
